This piece is adapted from words written by someone I never knew, but whom I can never escape. He is gone, but his torch is mine to carry on.

Give up
Their rotting dead

The night
Corpses on parade

A friend recently bought me “The Monster Book of Zombies,” a collection of short stories edited by Stephen Jones. It’s a great collection and includes H.P. Lovecraft’s “Herbert West-Reanimator,” which I had never read, but loved the movie adaptations. Ah, good campy fun. At any rate, an enjoyable read, if you want to be prepared for the coming zompocalypse. Find it here

Morning drops like a bomb, burning away secrets I wanted to tell.

It has come to my attention that I need to expand my vocabulary.   Magnetic poetry speaking that is.  Hmmm…I wonder what the english language would be like if we had to buy words in order to be able to use them?
